Status, Command, and Alarm Propagation
Desigo CC has the capability to propagate the status of system objects in a specific view and allows the operators to use aggregators in that view to issue specific commands to the detectors belonging to a subtree at a lower level. For example, typically in fire applications, logical zones, which identify groups of detectors, can be included/excluded. This means that the operators can investigate the cause of a propagated status (for example, Propagated Mode = Included
), and send pre-defined commands (for example, Exclude All) from the Operation/Extended Operation tabs or from the Status and Commands window.
The command propagation depends on the view structure:
- Only objects in that view propagate their commands downward in that view while the command execution affects only objects from that level of the view down supporting that command.
- Objects that are not in the current view will not propagate their status and commands in that view.
- Objects belonging to views different from the one currently selected will not be affected by the commands issued from the current view.
