Disabling and Re-Enabling the Tamper Protection

Scenario: You want to open the NK823x case. To avoid a tamper alarm, you can temporarily disable the tamper protection from the management station.

  1. In System Browser, select Management View.
  1. Select Project > Field Networks > [BACnet Network] > [NK823x] > Tamper.
  1. In the Operation tab, select Mode, and do one of the following:
  • Click Disable to disable the tamper protection.
  • Click Enable to re-enable the tamper protection.
