Deleting a Block, Library, or Folder
You can delete a library block, an entire library (with all the blocks it contains), or an entire folder or subfolder (with all the libraries it contains).
NOTE: You cannot delete the main Libraries folder, or any of the fixed library levels (L1-Headquarter, L2-Region, L3-Country, and L4-Project).
Prerequisites:
- You are trained and authorized to work with system libraries at the target customization level where you want to delete an item.
- System Manager is in Engineering mode.
- System Browser is in Management View.
Delete an Individual Library Block
- Select Project > System Settings > Libraries > L4-Project or L3-Country or L2-Region > [folder] > […] > [library] > [block].
- Click Delete .
- Click Yes.
- The block is removed from the library.
Delete an Entire Library
- Select Project > System Settings > Libraries > L4-Project or L3-Country or L2-Region > [folder] > […] > [library].
- Click Delete .
- Click Yes.
- The library is removed from System Browser.
If you try to delete a library with dependencies, a message box warns you that the dependent libraries may no longer work properly.
Delete an Entire Folder or Subfolder, Along with all its Contents
- Select Project > System Settings > Libraries L4-Project or L3-Country or L2-Region > [folder or subfolder].
- Click Delete .
- Click Yes.
- The entire folder or subfolder is removed, along with all the libraries inside it.
